The School District of Lee County is committed to educational excellence and ensuring that parents stay informed about important activities and events that enhance their child’s life.

In an effort to improve parent and community engagement, The School District of Lee County will implement Peachjar to send digital flyers directly to parents.

“Peachjar flyers allow parents to easily register their children for youth sports, enrichment programs, and community events. By using this new system, we aim to increase parent engagement and streamline school-to-home communication,” shared Lauren Stillwell, Director of Communications.

Digital flyers will be sent directly to parents as visually engaging images right on their smartphone or computer screen. Additionally, all flyers will be posted to each school’s website and on the District app, which will launch early next year.

No action is required on the part of parents. They will receive a welcome email from Peachjar that includes a username and password. This is provided so they can manage their account, but it is not necessary to login to receive or view flyers.

By using this new system, The School District of Lee County expects to decrease paper usage and copy costs. Additionally, Peachjar will remove a significant administrative burden from teachers, office staff and volunteers who distribute paper flyers during school hours.

Peachjar is set to launch on December 18, 2018. For more information, please www.peachjar.com.
